Star Trek Fleet Command: New Star Systems
There are seven new star systems available in Star Trek Fleet Command, and they’re located as follows:
Neutral Space:
- Coridan (16) – Dilithium
Federation Space:
- Ajilon (25) – House Antaak Interceptors
- Angosia (25) – 3 Star Gas Mines
Klingon Space:
- Maranga (25) – 3 Star Crystal Mines
- Narendra (25) – Klingon Explorers
Romulan Space:
- Zova Rhen (25) – 3 Star Ore
- Qualor (25) – Romulan Explorers
New Missions:
There are 19 new missions available in Star Trek Fleet Command, which focus on the Klingon House Antaak’s attack on Federation Space.
Your job is to fight them off while the Klingon Empire tries to calm them and the Romulan Star Empire tries to use the war to its own advantage.
It’s an interesting new piece of lore for Star Trek lovers.
Faction Ship Upgrades:
All 3 Star faction ships (not including Mayflower, D3, and Legionary) have received upgrades to make them more attractive to players at their respective level.
Here’s a quick breakdown of how each ship has changed:
Huge Bonus in Every Stat:
- The Bortas
- USS Saladin
- Centurion
Huge Bonus to Starting Stats, Slight Bonus to Last Tier:
- The B’rel
- USS Intrepid
- Gladius
Modest Bonus to Starting Stats:
- The D4 Class
- USS Enterprise
- Augur
Miscellaneous Updates:
Now we’ll round up all of the other smaller, if no less exciting, upgrades that were introduced to the game.
Economy Changes:
All resource generators after level 11 have been given an increase in storage capacities. This won’t affect how many resources are produced, but it will lead to you generally having more resources over time.
Resource Vaults:
Resource protection for Pastel, Tritanium, and Dilithium has received a sizeable boost in protection at levels 23, 26, and 27 respectively.
Ship Hangar:
Every player is now able to store up to five ships in the hanger. This is good news for those that always felt like they didn’t have enough ships at their disposal – I.E.: everyone.

Reception[edit]
Denis Loubet reviewed Star Fleet Battle Manual in The Space Gamer No. 42.[1] Loubet commented that 'I might have enjoyed it more if I had never played Star Fleet Battles. I'm spoiled. But the Star Fleet Battle Manual is a worthy precursor to that game, and should not be ignored.'[1]
